I've come to the realization that I have not been taking photos with the same vigor of past years.

I've never entertained that thought of myself as a photographer but I love to take photographs and on occasion capture a moment that makes me pause and want to share.

Now it seems unless you are a certain toddler who consumes me with his whims and perfection, I am not taking any pictures.

With this I think I lack some connection to nature, plenty of it here in the NW and here I am not enjoying it, no walks, no meditation, writing in a secluded wooded hide-a-way.....

So today we as a family are going...I don't know where. Maybe Mount Rainier but some nature is needed.

Maybe I'll begin a story and maybe I'll take some picutres. But I do know I will feel better.
